The comet Elenin entered our solar system in August, sparking all sorts of wild rumors that it could collide with the Earth, or at least come close enough to shake things up down here. Those rumors are completely false. The comet is very small, is several million miles away from us, and will not come much closer. On top of that, astronomers believe it may recently have broken apart. This is just one more example of a few people trying to get other people worked up over nothing.]]></description>
