Halloween After
I live for Halloween Night. My much older brother, Gene, used to map out the city and determine who gave away the biggest and best candy. We could go door to door and fill 4 supermarket bags each year. So, in the tradition of Halloweens from my youth, I still give out the truly “king” and “giant” bars.
Last night, I had almost 400 trick or treaters with 99% knowing the secret password for multiple bars (Farmers’ Almanac is great TV) and that FATV airs on the local Public Television Station. So, almost everyone got to select 5 – 6 – 7 bars from the 18 varieties. It was great seeing parents, children, even some adults who were still out there going for the chocolate. Here are a few photos form last night including Santa, Dracula and others. They came in all sizes.
Hope you evening was as much fun and that the weather cooperated. And what was the most requested candy?? Giant Reese’s Cups. We gave them all away – 8 boxes of 24.
