The adversity of any widespread weather event, especially an ice storm, allows neighbors to be good neighbors. People reach out to one another,. Young couples look in on the elderly. Communities open shelters and wonderful organizations like the Red Cross and Salvation Army, provide services. None of us like ice storms, but when they do occur, they allow us to be warm and caring friends to those we only pass each day and make new friends along the way.
The ice storm that traveled from Dallas to Washington D.C. is now a snow maker through northern New England. As you clear snow or chop ice, look in on a neighbor and see how you might help. It gives you that warm feeling inside.

I was trying to find out if the Farmer’s Almanac predicted the ice storm that hit January 27th? Also, is there more to come?
