Even though I live in San Francisco and think that it has FANTASTIC weather I will still have to give the best weather trophy to Santa Barbara (small city) and San Diego (large city). In Santa Barbara temps rarely fall below 45 on the coldest day of the year and average around 75 in the summer. It also gets a fair amount of rain so that it is not too dry. Even during the Summer the fog keeps things nice; green and cool.

I have to agree. Las Vegas weather is fantastic. After living most of my life in rainy, snowy and humid Chicagoland, where a mountain can't be seen for 1000 miles, I felt like a cloud had been lifted and my disposition was wonderful when I opened the curtains everyday and felt the breeze.

OK, 2 months of the year it is hot, but in Chicago, it is hot too and you stick to everything. Your hair gets ruined and wet and the bees and mosquitos eat you alive.

I definately agree, and the suburban areas are just as nice, but cheaper than they are here. I am back in scumville because of Grandchildren here now. I just try to grin and bear it.

Dana Point, CA. It too is on the ocean, part of Orange County, and averages 70 breezy degrees year round with low humidity. It simply gets no better than this.

Playa del Rey, CA. It's on the beach, part of Los Angeles, and it's usually in the 70's all year long. Awesome ocean breeze, I don't have an air conditioner and I don't need one.
