Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter
1/3 cup dark brown sugar
2 tablespoons rum
1 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/3 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 bananas, peeled and sliced lengthwise and crosswise
1/4 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
1 pint vanilla ice cream
Directions:
In a large skillet melt butter over medium heat. Stir in rum, sugar, vanilla and cinnamon. Once the sauce mixture begins to bubble, add bananas and walnuts. Cook about 2 minutes and serve over vanilla ice cream.

In 1910, the Almanac's publishers began pre-drilling holes in the corners to make it even easier for readers to keep all of that invaluable information (and paper) handy.
