Ingredients:
1 lb. whole wheat pizza dough
1 cup pizza sauce
1 cup mozzarella cheese
Olive oil
6 garlic scapes
Directions:
Allow pizza dough to sit and rise until it stretches easily. Preheat your oven to 450° F. Brush a large cookie sheet with olive oil and fit the dough to the pan. Cover the dough with pizza sauce and top with cheese. Cut the garlic scapes into 3” segments and place evenly over the cheese. Bake for 15-18 minutes, until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

Starting with the first edition of the Farmers' Almanac in 1818, readers used to nail holes into the corners to hang it up in their homes, barns, and outhouses (to provide both reading material and toilet paper). In 1910, the Almanac's publishers began pre-drilling holes in the corners to make it even easier for readers to keep all of that invaluable information (and paper) handy.
