This past winter season, 63 percent of the US experienced below normal temperatures. In contrast, Maine experienced its third warmest winter on record. Canada saw their national average temperature for the winter 2009/2010 4.0°C above normal, which makes this the warmest winter on record …for them since nationwide records began in 1948. Wacky weather for certain.

Agreed. It will be interesting to see how everything plays out as the El Nino and blocking weaken (assuming that they do). I'm sure that temperatures will return to “normal” across the US at some point… the only question is… when?
Hopefully before June, otherwise it could be a hot summer, lol.
