Which model is to trust? For this winter, the GFS has done great all though it has not shinned as much lately…and has had no consitency. The NAM has not done well, but has had a bit better with the last few storms as I remember. Which should I trust? The GFS has a clouds and a cold front on Saturday and the NAM has a foot of snow, when on Monday the GFS said 6-8″ if it was cold enough at all levels and the NAM said it was just to warm, and now they've flipped!

i don't know which one is better. you are right, the gfs did do well during the winter.
The NAM and GFS were starting to agree, but now they are splitting right snow. I guess everybody will be moping around in the dark until the ULL actually forms!

The NWS said that GFS didn't work this winter. But, it might work for you. I'm not sure.
