Well it was bound happen. the upper 60's to low 70's are gonna eb a memory after the sun goes down in bout 30 mins =( dang winter! It's the first day of spring tomorrow and it's gonna be in the 40's! dangit and gonna keep getting colder figures huh? No's 60's or 70's in my map below for my area this sucks!

Wow I looked at the national map and where's this huge line running across the plains… one side of the line is 30 degrees and the other is 60 degrees. Crazy!
Today is the warmest day of the year thus far, but it's going to crash here too, or so they say (they originally said it was going to be “winter” again by now) lol. I'm sure things will warm up again soon Dan.
Well,my Grandpa always used to say”If you can hear frogs in the ditches in Spring, you can expect 2 more snowfalls. On Thursday March 18th,it was in the mid 60's here in Iowa and we could here the little frogs all evening and all night long. Then we received 5 inches of snow on Friday March19th and Saturday the 20th.So if what he always said is true,we should have 1 more snow fall before it is really Spring.Has anyone else ever heard this? danadw5
Yep, it's going to feel like winter here in Bethel, CT until April Fool's Day
because of stubborn rain!!!!!
Im hearing allso it will begin to warm up in april gosh i hope so! right now it's rain/snowing. and just yesterday it got up to 68 degrees! This weather is funky.
That is interesting about the frogs danadw. I've been hearing frogs the past few weeks. Yesterday it was close to 70 but today we have temps in the 40's and falling with a rain/snow mix forecast. I see that there is a winter storm stretching up from No. East Texas into OK and Flake's area. However, we are forecast to be back close to 70 by Tuesday. Funky is right Grandin…but not necessarily unusual for my area. Around here people say that if you don't like the weather today wait 24 hours.
That's a very interesting saying about the frogs. I've heard one that goes, “once you can hear the spring peeper frogs, expect one more heavy killing frost” but that's it.
It snowed hard for about 10 minutes this morning at 39 degrees. Hard to believe it was 66 yesterday.
Next weekend looks like it could be below average for a change… low temperatures getting back into the 10s! Average low for next weekend is low 20s so 10s wouldn't be all that uncommon, but considering the warm pattern of this season it would be quite a change.
