Summer-like conditions possible for Wednesday…70s/80 with thundershowers!
This would be a very early thundershower (usually don't get them until May or June) but given how warm 2010 has been it doesn't surprise me.
I'll let you know when I get my first one…. even though everyone else has probably had a bunch already, lol. Of course, I had snow in October when everyone else waited until December… so I guess it's fair.
LOL my predict i made for your area was way off than. i said yer first thunderstorm was suppose to be late april. Thats why im not a weatherman.. But im glad u are getting warm weather and awsome thunderstorms. and ya it has been very warm for this time of the year. feels like mid-may but after wednesday around here temps are gonna tank big time. from the upper 70's lower 80's to upper 40's thursday and friday bbrr.
Wednesday is just uncertain now. A very sharp front will develop across the state tomorrow, with 70s/80 to the south of the front and 50 north of it. Locals are unsure where the line willl be, but it seems I'll be right near it. Should be interesting!
Almost could cause a tornado/hail threat… in April!
I think you're right…things look like they will eventually cool down…not too cool here but seasonable… backend snowflakes are possible from a few storms. Accumulating snow seems unlikely though… but then again busts are easy in April. Low temps could go back down to 32 by the middle of the month…which would still be 2 degrees above normal, lol.
im so mad at mother nature. we had some ba$$ thunderstorms around us last night but i didnt see none of them they went north of us over the lake! all i saw was lighting and thunder in the distance and had a 80 percent chance last night too!!! Well today it's 76 degrees right now and suppose to get some good thunderstorms again after midnight. But it's cloudy outside when it's cloudy it holds as a cap and doesnt create thunderstorms as fast and not as severe. Were if it was clear all the heat and humdity would expand into the sky and create them 50 thousand foot thunder heads and get crazy soon after that. And after today the temps are gonna tank into the upper 40's! than warm back up slowly. Glad i got my rakein in again. last time ill rake till fall it's a loosen battle i rake one day than the leaves are back. i wanna no where they come from cuz all the trees are bare with buds starting to bloom out allready..
We had our first thunderstorm last night. Before going to bed I checked the radar and the storms were to the north of us and then to the south of us. At 1 AM this morning they finally hit us. I was laying in bed watching the lightning show outside the window. At times the sky was constantly lit up from all the lightning.
70% chance of showers/thunderstorms for tonight.

Last night some rain came through… but no thunder/lightning. However, there was thunder and lightning just 30 miles away!
There's a chance this evening… I hope it comes! The weather might cool down to seasonable temperatures next week, so if a t-storm is going to happen it needs to happen today or tomorrow.
We have a family cabin in Livermore, ME looking up towards Canton. As a kid I loved sitting on the porch and watching the storms move down the valley towards the pond and the camp. If you couldn't see the mountain in Canton then start picking stuff up.
We had a good blow come through this afternoon just before 5. No lightning or thunder with it though. I think the heavier part went to the north of us. O well, summer isn't over yet.
No thunderstorms… oh well, maybe later in the month or in May. Temps look a bit more seasonable for the next week or so.
