Everyone,
Last night there was a cool wicked moon out i thought. I was sitting outside on the deck looking in the sky and seen a orangeish/redish moon it was soo cool. I dunno why it was them colors prolly the smog or something but it still was a good moon last night though. I didnt get a picture of it but if i see it again tonight ill have my camera ready for sure!!

Ya we did it wasnt heavy but it was light ranin for about 20 mins.
I saw the moon that night, but it was a normal yellow-white color. Yeah it's possible that you had an interesting cloud formation that altered the color and made it red… must have been cool.
A lot of times you'll see rain occur just after the “Red Moon” — it's an old piece of Native America folklore but there's actually scientific backing for it. Airborne dust and particles tend to be pushed ahead of storm systems and, if the timing is right, when this stuff starts to appear in front of the moon it creates a red/orange glow.
Well at any rate it was a awsome moon. and i looked for it the following night and it wasnt the cool colors. It was a white color. And awsome maineman you seen the same moon i did. it was cool wasnt it?
