Where in a cool down period right now but will get hot again starting sunday. But in the middle of sept. summer will end for a good chunk of the united states do you agree with this? If not please explain. And all signs are pointing to your side of the country will be cold and snowy along with mine. when it does happen we wont be on much cause we will be playing in the snow heh. i delcare a snow ball FIGHT!
'And you were the first to predict the cold and snows for our areas u are the man! and how's the married life going so far? did your wife have you fitted for the ball and chain yet lol??
Dan

I predict that temperatures are going to go from above-average to below-average starting from the north and working its way to the middle of the country, but the change will be more dramatic the father north one is. I have had two days in a row of highs in the 60s…. today was windy and I needed long-sleeves because I was so used to the upper 70s and 80s! Here too, temperatures look cool until Sunday when they will return to the 80s for possibly the last time in 2010.
The change has already begun here, and is beginning in the far north central. It will reach your area by early September, you and I will both wonder where hot temperatures went by mid-September.
I currently think we will both see a cold winter… but you have a much better shot at big snow this year. I think I'll get average snow at best, as the typical tracks for this setup will go to my north or south. However, the dry air and distant tracks could set me up for some big arctic blasts, hence the cold but dry winter conditions.
On the other hand, you're in a good place this year to get both the storm tracks and some cold blasts. I don't think you'll be much colder than normal, but definitately lots of snow.
Married life is going well so far, thanks for asking. Very busy though trying to get settled in… hopefully things will settle a bit for autumn, my favorite season!
