Fiona will hit the US! READ!

Posted By: wjp2011111  Posted On: Aug 27th, 2010  Filed Under: Weather

Well, I will Brag, I called this hurricane season explosion Mid-late august right on.  Fiona, (soon to be), Has me worried, I think the US might be in for a hit.  I'm going to take a risk, and say fiona hits the SE US somewhere.  Could be a big one too, maybe a rare event of it hits the Georgia Coast.

Yes I know the storm hasn't even fromed yet, but this is something I have a hunch on… just seems like reality.  This is no Joke, the season has started, expect 15-17 storms….I called that number in March… (sorry to be so bold)

:D :D :D Cheers :D :D :D

Lots of forecasters(including Bastardi) have forecasted an influx of storms by late August(even myself) so you weren't the only one. It was pretty evident that this would occur with the global pattern shift. But in any case good call :)

I will echo WJP that Fiona IS coming and IS a threat to the U.S. I would also pay attention to Earl, there are some possibilities depending on a few dynamic features that could make for a close call to the U.S. eastern seaboard. Bermuda should especially pay attention. Otherwise persistence expects it to recurve out to sea. Thanks for the update Phil.

Dude, with all due respect, I called for a Late blooming season in January, then called 15-17 storms In March. And Yes, I am the first one to forecast a Fiona Hit on the SE coast before the thing even forms.

If I bust………..  If you wish to take a risk and Echo what I say…. If I go down, You go down ;)

WJP, dude but your balls back in your panties, ok.

Last year you were much more friendly and way more helpful around here. I can remember half the posts having your name in the title… dont see that much these days though.

I dont know who took a big ole pee in your cheerios but your attitude has been in the crapper lately. You are rude and condescending to anyone that has any knowledge about weather. It's like you are looking to pick a fight with anyone at anytime and its getting o-l-d.

I'm not sure why you arent being told this more often. Maybe because people want this forum to stay open and if we all said what we felt it probably wouldnt. And I'm more than happy to be my normal happy go lucky self after this post (so I dont get myself or anyone else in trouble) but seriously you needed to be told this.

I thought you were really cool last year so I truly hope you chill out, otherwise at some point people are going to stop even wasting their time typing to you.

You are so right, I'm dumbfounded at myself.  I've been very irritable lately.  There are some serious family issues the past 4 months or so, although thats no excuse.
