Hey guys,
I found a persimmon seed at work today. I was at a jobsite about 30 miles away from home and put it in my truck and when i got off work i can straight home and opened it! and Guess what i found inside!!!!! I found a spoon aka shovel YES! i took a picture of it and everything it's below this text. And i been predictin my friends have been and you all have been 'well some of ya' that my area and the upper midwest will see a cold and snowy winter.. Anyways here's the picture of the persimmon seed. I'll be looking for more in my yard and the woods soon.

Thank you i used a hi-def camera they cost like 2 grand but well worth it. they allways preduce good pictures and i was looking at my forecast for the next 10 days WOW is all i gotta say. today and tomorrow it's gonna be 95 here. then on wednesday a huge round of thunderstorms will push through and on thursday threw next tuesday it's gonna be in the low 70's in the day and upper to lower 50's at night. this day keeps getting better weather wise heh..

haha thank you. and ya i tried to make it all business type an junk lol.. and droid's take some good pics my kid allways taken a picture of somehting weather wise they come out good. my blackberry takes semi good pics. and haha aight ill keep my camera and theck ya i scored good i hope i find a knife so i can complete my collection of the best winter yet this year i hope!

Hopefully, this year WILL be a good year. I feel alot better after comeing across my persimmons. But still…just about everyone hear predicts a warmer then average winter. Its really discourageing, but that MIGHT be the reality.
I know Rickster it is very discouraging, but that's how it is sometimes. Science vs. Nature. I'm for nature! You are the closest too me so far that has open persimmons. Where does Grandin live? Ohio? I'm in VA. Sure wish FatherFrost find some. I'm not sure what they look like.
From what I can tell, they very from reigon to reigon. I'm not sure where Dan lives. I'm sure he resides somewhere in the Great Lakes area though, or something along those lines. I am for nature as well…TRUST ME.
As do I. Science isn't always correct about things. Just like humans, computers can make mistakes (We invented them after all
). For example, I remember a couple of years ago that the news was forecasting my area to have rain all day from mid-morning until the evening, and over half of the modeling favored it. I head out around the early afternoon, and the sun was just sitting there with only a few clouds developed, but no rain ever came. I was so upset before that day because I thought I wasn't going to be able to go camping with all the rain falling, so I had to wait 3 days later to head out again lol.
Sounds like last winter in our area. We kept getting predictions of 12-18 inches of snow, but we would get either nothing, or a couple of inches at most. It was like we were in a big bubble- everyone around us got slammed, and we got nothing. So much for computer models!! :/
There is a saying that my girlfreind has. Computers are only as smart as the person who made it. Thats why I pay attention to nature. I have said it befor and I'll say it again. Befor computers, there was nature!

No lie. I forgot where I read it, but the Persimmon theory actually DOES have a average accuracy rate. Maybe someone should Google it?
