I have a lot of respect for the forecast credibility of the FA. But for some reason I have a feeling they are going to be off target in many areas this winter. There is absolutely no way the south and east will see sustained cold this winter or even wet for that matter. Also how is the pacific northwest going to be mild during a La Nina? I don't see it. The one thing that I can agree with is the cold and very snowy Great lakes/Midwest they portray. Which makes sense with the warm lake waters, etc.
We'll see what happens. I agree with them.
I agree with the fa, because we really have not seen really cold temps in years. It time for us to start having a cold/snowy winter this year in the southeast. It has been unusually hot down here this year. Plenty of 90-110 degree days down here this summer, and now the new fall season will put a drastic end to all of the hot weather. The only thing I didn't agree with the fa on, was that they said average snow, and that was around the area of southeast virginia, so at this point I'm predicting above average snowfall.
Going with FA on this one, I live in the East so I am going for cold and snow…
I would have to agree with them as well mainly because I'm thinking that La Nina isn't going to be main thing to control the pattern this winter, butt rather the factors that say otherwise. The only thing I'm not sure about is that very cold and wet area being near areas along the Gulf Coast and FL, but we'll see if that happens.
Indeed. But if the Nina isn't the main character this winter, what is?
