A big big cold front blew in on the PNW on saturday and been working it's way through the united states and canada. And just now getting to my area tonight and tomorrow were gonna have some power house thunderstorms and friday it's gonna be only 70 and be real nice and cool with no humidty on labor day weekend nice weekend to get terribly drunk and cook out and kick summer in the butt on it's way out of the door. and welcome fall. cause im a heat person ya but days with 90 or above since june is getting old i need some cold and thats what im gonna get soon. Just cool right now.. and the big cold front should be on the eastcoast soon maybe if it's strong enough it will push Earl out to sea more and push north where the cold waters stay and kill off Earl. The hurrcaine im gonna be watching is Fiona that soon to be hurrcaine looks like it's trying the shear off into the gulf. and suppose to grow and me a strong cat 3 hurrcaine maybe grow to a 4 before it hits. i pity new orleans if it goes there the cone has it all over the place and new orlenas is one of the spots maybe or texas. im gonna have to do the red cross thing like i did with new orleans where u go there and help clean up and collect the dead. something i wouldnt wish on my worst enemy. they say seeing the dead could change me and i said back in 2005 man i was in the berets im use to seeing dead people doesnt bother me one bit believe that. but it is sad and it's something i hope my kid or any other kid see's when they become adults. But Fiona is something to keep an eye on and so is Earl no matter if he will scrap the eastcoast..

Ya i hear ya peeps in the armed forces see and go threw alot. i can tell you stories that would make u crap yer pants. the jungles of south america werent to nice to me at all or bosina. ask my wife she knows all my secerts from the berets. i dont talk about it much though cuz alot of memorys and seeing good people die in front of me really got to me. my kid wants me to tell him my past but i figure when he is 50 ill tell him and when he goes in the army he will understand why i dont talk about it much. and shake your uncles hand for me and tell em good job soilder thank you for your service. tell em that for me.

I will. He has been in ther service since he was around my age I think. I'll be 21 in september. I thought about going in…but I dunno if I can handle it. Probably the only branch I'd be alright with going into is the Coast Guard. I think its the Coast Guard anyway..can't remember. Mom and I have already had “the” talk about me going in…she is 100% agenst it. But, to each their own.
Coast guard u train in basic for 12 weeks. and u come back home and once a month u go on weekend things with your paltoon. like excrises and training missions. but there is a chance u could go over seas for one year and come back home for and do the once a month thing in the states. My wife doesnt want johnny going into the army either she doesnt like that idea at all. but i told her he will be a man then he can make his own decsions and if thats his calling than we gotta let em go but there is a part of me that wants him to stay my son and wife are my family there all i got. and if something happens to johnny ill got o that part of the world on a mission i ensure you that.. But if u join anything u gotta think long and hard cuz once yer in u cant go out till your contract u sing is up less u get hurt or go crazy. but your make a fine soilder i think just be alert and the people u are in basic with go with u everywhere there your family too now. so u gotta prtect em too ya know. but whatever u do goodluck with it. im here for ya if u need anything..

Thanks dude. I don't think I'll go though. At the moment, its a last resort if I dont find a job, or if college doesn't fall through. I want to get in the manufacturing feild, which is what my uncle (not the Military one) is in. He does jobs for NASA and stuff, produceing seals for their rockets. The company name is Garlock Helicoflex. Funny name…but they seem to be a good company to work for.
that is a cool name i agree. anif u dont go than thats fine. and ya jobs are hard to come by now a days i had one postion open for my business cuz the other guy quit on me and 300 people applyed for one postion it was crazy. i gotta go through all these apps and make my office people call the refs they left.and nasa is a neat feild to get into dude maybe one day you will be into something with the manufacturing feild. just keep your chin held high and keep your goals as a must never on the back burner. and im outside on my laptop and the south breeze feels good ion the shade the hotness is about to depart thank god!
