That's exactly right, nobody can predict exactly what's gonna happen months out, it's just impossible , noaa and weather channel even change daily on their forecasts, no sure if weather science will ever be figured out. Lots of people have lots of growing up to do as they put on these big fights — too young yet to be trying to wishcast..

I agree.  We could have state of the art weather modeling, and still something could change that would make them be incorrect about a forecast.  I always say that it's just best to leave things to nature, because it is only nature that decides what it does around the world in the end.  If man could control the weather, there would be no balance on earth, and more than likely, international chaos would ensue.  I remember back in January, there was a forecast calling for a light snow accumulation across NC later that night.  I had went to bed after watching the news.  Later on, around 9 in the morning, I wake up, and what do I see outside?  Nothing.  Not a bit of snow on the ground.  They were so confident of their forecast too.  That just further proves what stormwatcher said about people not being able to exactly predict something.

I agree with both of you. Its cool seeing what people's thoughts are and all..but in the end, Nature will have the last word. Thats why I keep an eye on the “folklore” that surrounds the weather. After all, those sayings had to get there some how.
