Now this is very intresting i live in eastern canada and enjoy fall and winter very much and it's just around the corner. I purchased the old farmers almanac and my area is in the cold and snowy and the rest of my province is mild and dry. But i dont't understand how this la nina brings more snow to my area and keeps the maritimes provinces cold and dry? But last year i got no snow at all it only snowed 2 major times and the rest of the winter was very mild because of el nino i would think? My second question is could anybody tell me if there is a way to go back and look at past fa to see what they predicted in does years for my area? Just to be curious.

    Thanks Jonathan. :)

So this is interesting- FA has us as cold and average snow, but OFA has us as cold and snowy, so we shall see which is right.  Interesting…

How is the OFA going to list Arkansas as cold and snowy with Oklahoma being mild and dry?  The FA list Arkansas as cold and wet.  I wish it would be cold and snowy.

I took a quick peek at NOAA of all people today.

Looks like the temps are going to start dropping middle-late next week! Highs in the mid-lower 80s with lows in the lower to middle 60s!

Hey jon you can prolly write FA to ask them if there is a way too look back history like that. Or when your signed in and u go tot he long term forecast link they got this time machine thing where u enter the dat and year u want to no and it pulls up the weather for that day.. And amy/AR word that i agree FA is just confused. I think alot of the country will see some cold and depends on where u live to see some snow.. and Rick that big chill is coming here next week gonna be in the 60's for day time highs!! and 40's at night. My kinda morning standin on the deck and drinking my hot coco when it's so peacful at 4 in the morning!!
