Whats a word that rhymes with zigor?? its Igor! Our 9th storm of the 2010 hurricane season. right now it is a tropical storm with winds of 45mph, which makes it a weak tropical storm. Its movement is to the west at 6mph. the next few days it looks to stay at tropical storm status, but as we get into the weekend and early next week, Igor could become Hurricane Igor, as it makes a more WNW track. After that it looks as of now to miss the U.S due to the trough, and high pressure, but things can change.

My early thought is a re-curve into the atlantic.
However, I hope this thing makes a landfall, (sorry if that sounds aweful), I'm just sick of seeing all these recurves.

im wondering when 1 of these hurricanes this season doesn't recurve but actually heads straight towards the east coast. may not happen but wonderin if 1 doesn't follow the others
i dont wish a hurricane on anyone phil but i intend to agree with you on this one.. And very true blizzardlord. this hurricane exploded just like phil said it would do. and there's like 2 more systems behind igor. But i dont seei it being a problem to the states maybe bermuda at the most. Should have kept this name more towards halloween sounds all spooky and crap. IGOR BOO! heh j/p

lol, that is true, sorta sounds spooky, already at 9th named storm, early september too, should still get a lot more for the rest of the season, wjp was rite bout it exploding

I'm really suprised that none of them have made landfall as a striaght hurricane. It did explode as Phil said. I'll agree with that. But they keep on curveing. Oh well. Works for me, becuase I'm in SC!
What would really be spooky is for the hurricane to be named Igor, around halloween…and it being the 6th name storm. Fallow me?
