Okay kids, so I have decided to be generous and show you all the majority of the forecast maps that you will see in my Final Winter 2011 Outlook.
These maps will also be available in my update that will take a deeper look into my outlook.
The thing is that the heat does not want to die. So chances are I am 99.9999% dead wrong. But take it for what it's worth…Discussion to come…eh…when I feel like it.

are going by Celcuis or fahrenheit? Either way, I like the general Idea of your outlook in the PNW/Northern Plains. In the eastern 2/3 of the nation, in the end, I dont. Great Work regardless of what I think, you worked hard, and thats all that matters.
I have to say, your map making skills are EXCELENT. What program do you use to make these maps?
You have the overall idea correct. The north and west will be colder and the south and east warmer. I agree with the ice storm setup as well. This could be a nasty year for ice storms. no joke.
I might move out of pac coast looks bad for the tacoma wa area
Good forecast fatherfrost. but the battle zone should be more north into the great lakes.Other than that good maps dude.
Dan
I certainly do not see why. The “Battle zone” is where the warm airmass and cold airmass collide. Being as the GL's are expected to be consistently in the cold sector of things I certainly do not see why it would be that far north. Just sayin'.
Oh ok i thought the battle zone was snow related not cold and warm front collison my fault for not understanding.
Dan
Great mapwork, and very reasonable forecast. I think that the -5 to -8 departure range might come a little too far east, but it is hard to tell at this point.
Beyond excellent work my friend! I think you will look very smart over on accuweather come spring and you had the southern plains in the variable plus/minus 1 area. Again, thanks for taking notice of the info I have posted over the past month about this area!
For the rest of the country, it sure looks good to me. I don't think you are too warm at all in the SE because the chances of seeing a departure of more than plus five is slim IMO.
I wish you good luck fatherfrost
The outlook looks really good. I am not so sure about the drier conditions only being in the very southern tier. I have a feeling it will be a little further north, but that is just my opinion. Your outllook certainly seems possible, and I kinda like where it puts me (a very interesting winter-severe weather and ice).
Awesome maps Fatherfrost! Looks like I will be in for an interesting Winter with the ice storms being forecast for my area. 3 to 5 degrees warmer than normal is something I can live with.
Romanian: I think the southeast from N.C up will have a very cold winter, ice storms and some snowstorms, south of N.C pretty warm, maybe some ice!
Thanks, God bless!
Whats your reasoning behinf your opinion Romanian?
Faith in Jeus Christ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
God bless!
