Probably more like 10+ to 30+ for Jan. Last year or Janurary thaw we got up to around 55 a couple times, and that's only 20 degrees above average, and it can get into the upper 60's, easy.
this big warm up everyone is so affraid of. will happen with ALOT of the country. but the upper midwest/great lakes/upper england states i see still being pretty cold. but the other places in the united states i see going warm in late december till early march. than flippin back to a cold patteren and wet pattern too. spring/summer of 2011 wont be NOTHING like this year it will be more wet and cooler. remeber how 2009 was cooler for most of the united states well it's will be cooler for 2011 and more wet.
