Man it was cold this morning i woke up and had to build a fire it was 36 this morning and only 50 now. I been looking at the future cast for the whole united states and after wednesday the temps are gonna drop im seeing. Around here it's gonna be in the 40's for day time highs and eastcoast etc it's gonna get cold out there too. all them 100's we had to endure all summer is a thing of the past and im glad. and west of the mississippi river gonna be coldish too not like mississippi river east. My cousin ralf lives in Vail, Co and he got some healthy snows allready i think it would be to early cause it was well before halloween. Maybe it's a sign that a big part of the country will get some good snows this winter season. i see a white christmas for many.. I'm gonna have to whip out my MRE kits..

Keep them handy. This winter may seem like a cake walk compared to the winters when the AMO finally flip flops back over to a colder cycle. Learn from the squirrels and hoard them in the attic, just in case.
It was 30 degrees this morning at 8am and for the weekend they are predicting snow. I hope to god that it does snow. Does anyone know anything about that. If anyone does can ya'll shed some light on it. I don't want to get my hopes up, but I can't seem to help it.
I'm southwest of Columbus,Ohio but the highs are only going to be in the 40's on Thursday and Friday could see some flurries

Hahahaha i know where i can get MRE kits buy the dozen. The food is good to be honest most people dont like em but after you ate the same thing for 12 years u get use to it. And i just may get a couple cases for a just in case day ya know?

Well if u live in ohio i think you will get a white christmas. Cause the whole state accpt the southern east part of ohio is in the snowy range and the southern ohio part is in the battle zone which is rain/sleet/ice/snow. I think you will get some good snows i live really close to ohio in indiana.

I'm in Mansfield (halfway between Cleveland and Columbus, just off I-71)… I think we'll end up with a lil above average for my area.
Dan, I live south of Houston and I have eaten them during Hurricanes. They are OK but I can see where they get old in a hurry. Perfect storm food.
So it's going to be a mess snow, wind events and ice which I hate ice lets just wipe the other crap and just give me the snow
Anyone else on here from Virginia?(Richmond). I haven't heard from FatherFrost! He's south of me, and usually can forecast these parts very well:) All this talk about snow has me yearning for some. Your winter will start off with a good cold and some snow. and faze out into a more mild winter but flip into a cold faze agin and spring and summer of 2011 will be alot more cooler and wetter for your area and 90 percent of the united states too.
