Yeah buddy, the cold is here for us in South Carolina. Highs barely scratching 55-60 degrees. We made it to 53 or so today. Its 34 degrees outside right now as I type this. When I woke up this morning to take my girl to work, it was about 27 degrees outside. Its awesome.
Accuweather (yes, accuweather) actually puts us down for a chance of winter type stuff that falls from the sky between the 11th and 13th (I think). Its a good ways out but still fun to see on the outlook.
My mom is talking to a feller that owns a farm in upstate South Carolina, in a county called York County. Its between Charlotte and Rock Hill I beleive. He says S.C. (at least the upper part) is in for a rough winter. His clue is his horses actually have very thick coats roughly 6 weeks earlier than the usually do. Sounds sweet.
I don't think this winter will be that warm at all. The trees held leaves too long into the fall. Summer was really hot. Had sever weather as well receintly. Insect activity was odd. congrats on the cold temps. We are getting them here in Southeast Kentucky as well. lol I know it is very exciting to look at accuweather.com's 15 day extended forecast, I get so excited looking at it. But, it is very inaccurate lol. It is awesome to look at though. For December 11th-14th, they have me getting 21.7 inches of snow. lol come on get real. Hope I do to bro. Would be nice. Really nice. But oh well if we don't, as Earth has other plans always. I know that Accuweather's outlook is inaccurate. No surprise there. Its retarded to make a 15 day outlook. Its straight up entertainment, and an epic fail.
