Big crowded cities are heating up from all the reflective heat that’s generated and the desert areas have always been hot, but I haven’t found any warming up to be true in the countryside areas of Texas. It’s always been hot in Texas.
 
I’m not sure why you think warming would shorten growing seasons rather than lengthen them.
