There is this thing called the LLTI that a KC weather station has come up. Each time the chief met goes somewhere, the weather ends up being more interesting than originally predicted. While I realize that is subject, why not listen to how it has worked this morning?
We were supposed to get up to .15″ of rain this morning with temperatures in the 40's and 50;s. I wake up at 5am to a mix of heavy freezing rain and sleet with louder thunder. Just north, there is thundersleet/snow, just south, there is severe weather with a few warnings, even! Right now we are getting a mini ice storm that is almost over. And each time this met leaves town, something weird and interesting like this happens. I have no idea why, but it's pretty cool!

How did your winter turn out as compared with normal?
