In spring, we usually have wacky weather… but so far, it has been a bit extreme. From mid late February we were having 70′s and 80′s for highs with only brief cool speels. Then since about two Wednesdays ago, we’ve been cold and in the 30′s and 40′s for highs. Right now it is 86 degrees at 2:00pm CDT, the old record high was 82, and we still have a couple hours of heating left. Some areas may climb into the low 90′s later on this afternoon. And a week ago, it was snowing! There was only one other year when we had to turn the AC on in April, and I’m hoping we can avoid that this year.
