I have a question about asparagus. A couple of years ago I planted asparagus and this spring when it came up it grew so fast that I think I missed the chance to harvest it. It is now about five feet tall and all fern like. can i cut it down or do I have to wait till the fall and cut it back after it turns brown? Need help please.
