any other pages talking about this winter?

  2. fatima20 says:

Yeah, I saw that weather report too!

  3. Blizzardlord says:

well i live bout 100 miles east of chicago so i hope that means severe blizzards here 2

  4. fatima20 says:

Where exactly do you live, because it sounds like you’re living in the great lakes region of northern michigan, but anyway, You most likely will have a brutally cold and snowy winter! Get a couple of pairs of snow boots! Lol!

  5. BlizzardKing says:

Blizzardlord and I live in Fort Wayne, Indiana, which is in the northeastern part of the state. We dont usually get all that much lake effect. Actually we are lucky to get all that much lake effect at all when just two counties to the north could be getting clocked with it. Here alot of the worst of the storms seem to miss or brush past us and even by 100s of miles too, which is aggravating to us snowlovers in the city!

  6. fatima20 says:

Oh, you two are together, cool! I had a feelng you lived in indiana, so I’d say you should get a shovel and pack up some snow boots and everything by october or so, as you may see your first flakes in early october! I think your area will be hammerd with snowfall this year! LOL.

Too many people rely on El Niño vs. La Niña and none are the same, things change and are differenet factors to take into effect. I did find the youtube video related to that site with maps and all on this video, its   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9oD2YokfaVU

  8. OUCloud says:

i hope we get another round of good snow…

    Lives in OKC , OK

  9. fatima20 says:

If actual temps are that hot, and continue this week coming up you will most likely have a bad winter. Here’s a weatherlore secret for those reading, When temps are extremely above normal during the first week of august, this canbe a major sign of a bad winter. So, keep your eyes peeled this week, because you all will be happy that you tried this weatherlore secret, as it’s very effective.

In N.C next week its supposed to be really hot. Does that mean a cold winter? And we had a lot of fogs here in N.C.   The NAO is going to go negative and the AO is going to go negative and PNA positive. Does that mean a cooler weather ahead? Thanks, God bless!!

  11. steph777 says:

no joke I’m ready for the snow here in oklahoma

  12. fatima20 says:

You better be, cuz thiz winter will be no joke for millions! Also to romanian, yes that will signify a bad bad winter. I think Both Romanian and I will hae a bad winter. You too as well steph777 most likely will have a good bit of snow this year.

Well this summer seems to be the hottest summer I have experianced sinced I moved from Florida to Ohio. I live in Akron Ohio and I was thinking just the other day that this weather is reminding me of when I lived down south in Florida. Lol. I hope we will see lots of cold and snow and I hope that Fall and Winter come early this year. I have noticed a lot of fog not only in the morning, but through out the evenings and nights as well. I hope that this is a good sign. Also the berry tree in my back yard was full of ripe berries early this year. Time will tell, but I hope it comes on already.

I have no faith in ever getting a colder winter here ever again in conway south carolina. It sure used to get cold here and stayed that way way more often from late nov thru early-mid mar at least but not anymore. So much for global cooloing and a mini ice age for here.

  15. Stormwatcher says:

Burr i live where this shows -5 rock bottom of chart for temp in jan   http://www.longrangeweather.com/images/jan-t-hr.jpg

  16. snowboi1 says:

Yeah but when that map says 1 degree below normal  for south carolina does it mean just 1 degree?

  17. Blizzardlord says:

yes!! fatima i like hearing that

  18. snowlover says:

Good question Snowboil!  Does it only mean just 1 degree cooler for the mid atlantic this winter?
