Hey guys not many may remember me as I was only active for several months last year. I remeber Grandin, wjp112 (or sometihng like that), fatherfrost, rickster, winterlove, and a few others. So far this hurricane season has been very pathetic, however the peak has not even been reach yet and the long range GFS has a significant tropical system affecting the eastern US next week. As for this winter, I suspect a winter of a similar nature of last winter. A weak La Nina. A mainly frigid and snowy midwest, cold SE, cold and wet eastern US (with a few Nor’easters), mild southern US, Pac NW will feature mostly rain and cold temps for lower elev. (areas such as spokane and other upper level areas could see some significant snowfalls), Mid-Atlantic (one of the most difficult areas to forecast due to the straddling of two regions, the NE and the SE and the western fringe of the Mid Atlantic being the App. Mtns.) The western Mid Atl. could see a few LE snows following clipper systems. Nothing major but possibly being on the western edge of a Nor’easter resulting in a significant snowfall. The rest of the Mid Atl., I am going to say what every single forecaster says, possibly very wintry, cold but not extreme. lol. I am no meteorologist. I just look at patterns and ocean trends and love to see others imput on my outlook. whether it be good imput or criticism, hey if I am wrong, maybe you can teach me something new!…. But good luck to all who make predictions and fingers crossed for a winter to remember!

Not too shabby. You should see my updated outlook and let me know what you think.

mild southern us umm i think that one u got it wrong on that one.ps no offence key weather lore.
Glad to see you back Mr. White. I can honestly say that I don’t remember you 100% but your name rings a bell my friend. In any event, I do like where your going with your predictions. maybe you should try a hand at a prediction map?
There will be no mild winters….Ever!!! You know how I know?? God said in Genesis that as long as the earth remained there would always be the four seasons, warm, hot, cool and cold
i sort of remeber you from last year mr.white. you might remember me. oh, and our region known as the mid atlantic looks to be cold and snowy, as we’re more towards the northeast. here’s proof, because the midatlantic states are all written down in the northeast forecast on this website, so we could be considered the northeast more, before we’re considered the southeast. I live in Virginia.
