PNW winter/fall outlook

Posted By: whiteout  Posted On: Aug 20th, 2011  Filed Under: Weather

It seems like most of the time, the PNW will experience winter temperatures different from most outlooks. So I decided to dedicate some time to study patterns of the PNW.

This is my first outlook, so please give feedback.

Based on the way things are going right now. PNW could see a very mild fall, with a dry september but a wet October.

After Mid-November, winter temperatures should feature several times of  below normal temperatures, with a chance of mild, and wet temperatures at beginning of December and late February.
In gengeral: average to sligthly below temperatures

Precipitations during DJF will be below average, but with slightly above average snow fall.
