CASTING CALL: LOOKING FOR ECCENTRIC FARMERS

Do the words “traditional,” “old-time” or “survivalist” have relevance in your
day-to-day life? Do you prefer/seek out what some would call an “old-fashioned”
approach to farming? Do you have a larger than life personality? If any of the above
describes you, keep reading!

A major cable network is seeking a charismatic, interesting farmer; farming family
or community. Most Americans assume farming is a thing of the past, but this will
be your chance to show the public firsthand the challenges of running a successful
farm. Ideally we would like someone with a quirky, interesting and fun personality
and a unique background that led you to your work but are open to others. Must
have a vast knowledge of the farming industry and be able to express yourself on
camera, especially to those unfamiliar with the subject.
