I’m Here in NYC just arrived 5 hrs ago. My company is contracted with other states in cause of fallen trees and cement damage. Me and my crew come in after the storm and remove trees so the power comapnys can restore power. And when the whole storm is gone we re cement the damaged sidewalks or parking lots. It’s raining HARD and the winds as of right now are olny 20 knots from the south. Irene is coming ans she is coming on strong. I’ll be sleeping in my cab in my F-150 the motels and hotels are booked with media and the peeps from the weather channel. I met Jim Cantore from the weather channel today nice guy got his autograph too. I seen him in Chicago in the febuary blizzard but we didnt talk. Im gonna take tons of pictures and shoot some video with my sons video camera he let me use before i left home.. Hope all is well in nags head, NC and hope everything is well in Virgina Cause Irene is Lashing out on that state big time i hear. I’ll try to keep everyone updated from time to time but i expect to loose my cell service and internet due to the storm. Been a long time since i been through a hurricane!
