Finally got time to get on the internet and download these pictures. I hope everyone with in the FA family was ok durning Hurricane Irene. Great pictures, as always, Dan. NY was lucky with this one. Was on the hurricane board yesterday and read a post by a guy on Long Island who was without power. He said that a crew was just outside his house working on removing some trees. I wondered if that was you and your team.
I also hear there is something brewing in the Carribean that may enter the gulf this weekend. Several things worth watching right now.
YES MsSouthernGirl that Tropical Storm could turn into Hurricane Lee later today. It should dump some rain on LA and other southern areas and then come on up north.

Wow, those are dramatic! We usually get a few thunderstorms with tropical storm conditions a few times a year, but they never last for several hours. Thank God it weakened so much from the NHC’s early thoughts!
I’m not trying to bust on your pictures Grandin, but that’s nothing compared to what happened in upstate NY, I don’t have any pictures but i saw alot on the news. Six towns have been inandated, 600 homes have been destroyed, 122 roads have been destroyed, 25 bridges destroyed, 1 billion dollers in damage in Ny state alone this is all a estimate right now the govenor said these numbers will probably go up.

This storm wasn’t as bad as i expected even though some areas only like 5 minutes away from me in the same area got it much terribly worse!
Looks like Katia is gonna just give us some rip currents, and that’s about it. We sure don’t need anything else! I went to a funeral yesterday caused by Irene. Over 800 folks attended. Ya Katia wont hit the eastcoast. You all can thank Lee for that his rains and winds are gonna push Katia out to sea. Just waves and some wind is all you guys will get. And snowlover your friend who was lost in Irene will be in my thoughts and prayers the family too. And Irene wasnt as bad as many thoughts like i stated a week before it hit in the upper eastcoast Irene will fall apart fast and what did Irene do? she fell apart fast. Just dumped tons of rain is all really major. And im glad New Orelans didnt get hit to hard and im glad there pumps worked. i got my wifes side of the family licing there now. There from canada so it’s a big change for them but they like the heat they say. They can have it!

shoot glann we got meriweather now. that was a huge ups for the bears. I think there gonna do good this football season. Cutler better not be a little girl this year and whine. He is suppose to be a 2 time pro at the probowl! he acts like a chick to much. he needs to get his balls out of his ex girlfriends purse and be a man!! yeah snowlover, that was deep and it’s true, man people can’t be joking and jiving around with this weather like it’s a game. people under-estimate nature too much! something needs to be done for people to re think things before they do bad things with this nature because, it’s a serious situation!
