Howdy Dan,
You might consider selling those black walnuts. They are fairly expensive and sometimes hard to come by in certain areas of the country. Black walnuts are my husband’s favorite nut so if we lived closer I would certainly take some of them off your hands. We vary rarely see them around here in the stores and the few times I’ve bought them I had to order them off the net. We live in pecan country lol.
I’ve got a black walnut cookie recipe and have seen some good black walnut cake recipes on Allrecipes.com.

id give u the whole 32 gallons if them too. there just weighin down my garbage cans right now lol.. And i never thought of the black walnut cookies and other food ideas for em. or maybe ill put em in the local paper 2.20 a pd!
Dan
You could try advertising them on Craigslist. That way the ad would be free. The going rate online for black walnuts in the shell is 6.99 a pound. They would probably sell quick at 2.20. You might want to keep a pound of um. Shell them, put them in a Ziploc bag and store them in the freezer. Black walnut cookies are really good. Just sayin…

6.99 a pound sounds better haha. And i will keep a pound of them and see what i can cook with em. And my mom use to make black walnut cookies but oddly enough i never ate one. So ill have to travel to her house and have her make sum with my black walnuts. and ill place an add on Cragslist. Thanx for the idea and indo MSSG

Black Walnuts go great with beer and Monday Night Football! Good luck with your Bears tonight Dan. They have their hands full with a very tough up and coming Detroit team. I need Matt Forte to have a good night.
The Norse division is back with GB, Chicago and Detroit!
The bears are making me sad right now Glen. I hope the Bears win tonight but the way there playing it doesnt look like it..

There is a cake called “Do nothing cake”. Its basically your plain cake; but for the topping you take a can of carnation milk and stir it till it’s almost boiling, then add 1 cup of coconut, and 1 tablespoon of coconut extract, then remove from heat and add 1 packet of black walnuts! Yummylishous! Poke holes in your cooled cake and pour topping over the cake! Like I said…Yummylishous!
I am also a fan of Black Walnuts though it is really a rare find here in our place. IYou can actually sell those for a good price and I bet you can make a living out of them. .I have also tried making different pastries with black walnuts and my friend say they are to die for! but since i rarely get to buy them in markets i order online as well and its quite a hassle so i tend to settle for other nuts to replace in the recipes.
