Well it looked good in my area. then like clock work the 40′s went off the map now it’s gonna be in the 60′s and 70′s next week. Notice when the hot temps is coming it’s here 5 mins later. and when the cold weather is expected it takes 2 months to get here!! But sooner or later the real cold temps will be here just gotta be patient.
Dan
The Mets are forecasting a high of 65 and a low of 45 Tuesday for us . Wednesday gets more interesting with a high of 58 and a low of 40. Since I live in the country we will probably be in the upper 30′s for a low if this all pans out. It is unusual for us to see these sort of numbers down here in October.
Missgirl? Do you live in Desoto County?
Here in Northeastern Kentucky, our forecast is showing highs in 40s and lows in lower 30s, upper 20s. We might even see a few snow flakes mixed in the rain!
In Northwest Suburbs of Atlanta on Thursday the high is in the upper 50′s and lows are in the mid to lower 30′s. This is the coldest we have seen in a while.
Also, watching another shoot of cold are about 12-13 days out that could bring snow all of the plains, midwest, ohio valley, and maybe a few flurries down in North Georgia, North Alabama, and North Mississippi. This was indicated by the 12:00pm GFS model. Models do change and that far out the model could change alot, but I sure hope it doesn’t.
and…the long range just changed well at there was hope for a some really early flakes in the southeast for a couple of hours
The big cool down is for next weekend after a potential Nor’Easter late week…Another big cold outbreak possible for Halloween.
We have upper 60s for highs and lows in the low to mid 40s next thursday to friday here in Conway South Carolina.
The lows in Houston will be in the 40′s for the upcoming week…where I live out in the suburbs..it’s going be like 42 degrees and a high of like 73/74 for the later half of next week….unfortunately we’re gonna rebound into the upper 80s but we lie in Texas so we expect this lol
BUT YEAHSSSSSSSSSS for fall weather
Ya I am ready for the big cool down it’s all I have been wanting
Well, we are getting the sharp cooldowns here in Colorado, we just need some stinking significant moisture…so far, the cold front that just rolled through has brought us highs in the mid 40s, and lows that will drop to the 20s, but as far as moisture is concerned, only a few sprinkles and flurries, and then later this week, back to average highs and dry again…not much excitement there.
I do have a bit of good news, KRDO.com’s 13 day trend forecast is showing the next big blast of colder weather to hit around next Thursday, where highs may be in the low 30s if we even get that warm, it’s not showing whether or not there will be moisture with that cold air, but if you want my guess, whenever there is a strong front like that, it ALWAYS has moisture with it, so, if the front comes to fruition, then we will have the second snowstorm of the year.
And what originates here must move east, so someone out there is going to get it if we do
i’m back around again! in this case, fieldsjay it lookslike mid atlantic may see flurries in 13-14 days too, because i looked at the 15 day forecast at accuweather.com lat night, and it said my area would be in the lower 50s and mid 30s in about that same exact time frame(12-14) days! so it may be flurries coming early for many in the southeast and mid atlantic pretty soon. those same flurries most like ly will be up the east coast as well, if this thing does happen. And sonny, yes it may be colder than predicted pretty soon, and i should see temps in the 50s and low in the 30s-40s soon as well. This cold front could really begin to have very cold permanent temps afterwards for many weeks and potentaially monhs t atime following through the winter, as the final warm days look to be pproaching us this week at this point.
Haven’t heard about any cooldowns… looks like the relatively mild weather will continue.
Here in Alabama we are going to be in the mid 80′s today and tomorrow in the mid 50′s for highs lows will be in the 38 degree range. Shorts today, sweaters tomorrow gotta love Alabama weather.
Grandin I know what you mean. These temperatures reminds me of gas prices. When they go up they SHOOT up; when they go down they trickle down. Oh well….what can we do. I am looking forward to the cooler temperatures later this week. Our weekend forecast looks great!
