We have some of the signs of a harsh winter here in Boone county, Missouri. We have an abundance of acorns. The leaves have been falling since September. Sometimes the leaves were falling so much it was like raining leaves. 

We still have moderately green leaves on some of our trees. For possibly several months we’ve had alot of webs outside including the dragline kind. We’ve seen slightly more of an increase in spiders being in the house. They are various sizes. We see the squirrels ocassionally running around probably collecting acorns.

Do pine trees predict the weather? If so we have alot of light brown pine needles covering the ground under the tree behind the house.
