Home Remedy Help?

I recently got a sever upper respiratory infection which came with it’s usual nuisance cough and I just can’t seem to get rid of it…any ideas of some good home remedies that may help ease this symptom?

  1. I dont know says:

try hot lemonade with honey as a sweetner…if taken before bed, you usually feel some better in the a.m.  not cured but better..using a real lemon is the best, but even the concentrate will help you..

and of course hot is best, but even cold lemonade with sugar as sweetner should help

a clove of garlic every day…..just chop it up, so it  is small, put on tsp, and swallow it with a drink of water…you won’t even taste it…

I use ginger chews for cough…also any chockolate candy helps a cough…at least for me…but it may just be the sugar that does it, not the chocolate..not sure on this…

and none of this is instant…you can’t take it and then feel better in 15 min…it takes times to take effect…

think I Kinda did a bad here…I am absolutely new here, just signed up a couple hours ago…and first thing I Saw was was her  post about feeling punky and just jumped in…

I have used everything I MEntioned above..and its always helped me…but I Dont’ know if its ever helped anybody else, course I DOn’t know if anyone has ever tried it either….but as long as one is not allergic to any of that stuff…shoulnd’ hurt…cause lemons are Vitamin C, and honey is a antibiotic…so seems to me, it would work…

and I THink Garlic is a super food, but I Can’t chew it…that’s too much for me…but chopping it up and gettingit down that way, for me was the answer…I Try to eat a clove a day…don’t always succeed tho..
