Weather forecasting is not an exact science. The most forecasters can do is a week in advance. Get yourself a good barometer. If the pressure is steady, the weather will remain as it is. If it rises, the weather will improve. If it falls, the weather will get worse. The barometer shows the weather in the next 12=24 hours, not the current conditions. Go online and learn how to look at Doppler radar for your area, read front maps, and what to look for in the clouds.
Thanks fatoldladyinpjs! I know I didn’t ask the question; but I still learned something. I’d like to do more on here than whine and wish for snow. I’ve always been interested in the weather. A barometer. How much are they. Where can I get one from? (Walmart perhaps)? I also look to Mothernature to predict winter. Unfortunately mothernature isn’t giving me too much hope for this winter in these parts!
you need to look at all the diffrent weather models.this is the main way most meterologists predict weather and put out forecasts.there are many diffrent ones with the gfs, euro, and nam just to name a few.i know of 2 websites to check a couple out.wunderground.com and twisterdata.com now you just need to learn how to read them.i’m still learning.
