On Sunday, December 4, 2011, a system will move into the great lakes from the south. With temperatures remaining below freezing in many places, accumulating snow will be likely.

Western Great Lakes, including northwest Wisconsin, Southeast Minnesota, and Northern areas of Iowa will receive around 5 cm of snow. Heavier snow will fall in Eastern central Ontario and Central Quebec. Accumulation of up to 15 cm of snow is possible.

The rest of the Great Lakes will only receive rain or mixed precipitation. Toronto will remain one of the few places in Canada yet to experience significant snowfall.
