So all year i been hearing how cold it was SUPPOSE to be in December and through January. With a breif warm up in Feb. and March. But that was way off cause at 2am this morning it was 60 degrees outside. And now im hearing the big cold will arrive in the first week of January is this true or just an excuse to get my hopes up? Cause for 4 years around this time it was in the low 20′s for day time highs and allready had 2 major snow storms. This year it has been very mild and very wet as in rain. Yeasterday i got 1.50 inches of rain which would have been 8 ta 24 inches of snow if it was cold enough. We have small very short cold blasts and like 1.23 inches of snow so far this winter. What’s up with this? Im so upset cause im losing money and alot of it daily. Can soemone let me no if the January thing is true and if not please tell me when im gonna get my snow and cold??

I was hoping all the long range (winter) forecasts were right on. From where I sit, its going to be an other “mild” winter. I’m sure we’ll get snow, just not what was forecasted. winter is a bust.

ha ha ha… mmm…. the 60′s were *****in’. oops. that will get starred… the 60′s were WHITE and cold. we played a lot of pond hockey with brooms and sticks. now I just prefer to sit by the window and watch it snow me in… and out of work.
I cannot believe this weather!!!!! Grandin, at least you got a lil snow. We only got a trace of it. As a matter of fact, I’m sure when I sneezed, all the snow disappeared!! I am truly disappointed!!! Im not going to listen to stuff about its going to be a cold and snowy winter, wet-n-wild winter, none of that anymore! Every time I think its going to be cold, the temps start to rise again!!!! So very sick of this crazy weather! Like what is really going on here? KatD-Mo, Im with you, winter is definitely a BUST!! Sometimes I think Alaska is not a bad place to be for X-mas! At least there, I know without a shadow of a doubt, there will be snow and lots of it!! I mean really, it snowed in some places for Halloween, but we can’t get any of the white stuff now…..
Agreed, this weather sucks, I want snow !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Looks like everyone was wrong with thier forecasts, I hate a green Christmas and it’s hard to get in the Christmas mood when its warm.
Our local weather guy said yesterday that we (WV) probably won’t see real snow and cold until the early part of January. I say we will see!
Well if it doesnt get cold until early/mid jan. then that wont be much winter unless its cold until mid-march at least down here in SC.
havn’t seen any flake so an inch would be great right now.
I really hope the snow and cold forecast changes soon. i’m will to travel hundreds and thounds of miles to get plow and salt just to get money. Seems like west of the mississippi is the jackpot for snow right now. I’m trying to get contracted up in the moutains of colorado/oregon/washington.. Clearing passes and rail yeards out there will make me decent money. Least till the east and the eastcoast gets snow..
