Well i was sitting on the couch with my kid watching him zap people on the ps3 i bought em and my blackberry goes off telling em Monday night through Tuesday there will be a decent snow event. Now it’s no major snowstorm like i want it to be but least it’s a start. But here is the info for people like Blizzardlord blizzaedking and who ever else lives in the northwest indiana/chicago area. This wont stick around long though cause it will be above freezing the next day. `Dan`

ACCUMULATING SNOW EXPECTED LATE MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY MORNING… .
PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED TO OVERSPREAD THE AREA LATE MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY MORNING AS A PAIR OF UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCES BEGIN TO MERGE ACROSS THE OHIO RIVER VALLEY. MOISTURE WILL BE DRAWN NORTHWARD IN ADVANCE OF THIS SYSTEM MONDAY NIGHT. PRECIPITATION MAY BEGIN AS A MIX OF RAIN AND SNOW LATE MONDAY NIGHT… EVENTUALLY CHANGING OVER TO MAINLY SNOW FOR THE EARLY HOURS ON TUESDAY MORNING. THE HEAVIEST PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED TO FALL IN THE 4 AM EST TO NOON EST TIME PERIOD WITH PRECIPITATION POSSIBLY CHANGING BACK TO A RAIN OR SNOW MIX BEFORE DIMINISHING IN INTENSITY. DUE TO THE POTENTIAL FOR MIXED PRECIPITATION… EXACT SNOWFALL AMOUNTS REMAIN UNCERTAIN. HOWEVER… CURRENT INDICATIONS SUGGEST A POSSIBILITY OF 2 TO 4 INCHES OF WET SNOW ACCUMULATION DURING THIS PERIOD WITH THE HIGHER ACCUMULATIONS GENERALLY ALONG AND SOUTH OF ROUTE 24. THE TIMING OF THIS SYSTEM IS SUCH THAT THE TUESDAY MORNING COMMUTE WILL LIKELY BE AFFECTED. This unlikely will be much of an event here in Fort Wayne. A few inches if that. I almost don’t even want the snow if it wont stick long because to me it seems like a waste when it falls like this. I did see that posting on accuweather the other day!
i agree ShawnM +nao +ao sucks really badly…and dan im hearing that mid jan and after should bring a more snowier pattern 4 us i hope its true, but this is a small start
