WHERE ON GOD’S GREEN EARTH IS WINTER?!?!?!?!?!?!

Hello everyone:

I do not mean to sound like a whiner, but this December has been darn warm and BOORING in Chicago! I am SOOOOO sick of this crummy, stifling hot pattern! Yes, the models may predict a “cooler”latter part of January and February, but by then, it would be TOO LATE! Frankly, I am becoming progressively impatient, and I know I cannot control the weather, but I demand that Mother Nature gives us some snow tight here right now! One more thing: Happy New Year.

it was 59 today, tomorrow 57.   the grass here is greening up.  the jet stream is still way north and doesn’t show signs of dipping anywhere soon.  soooo….. its time to put the snow plows up and start working on the ….. lawn mower.   it has a leak and a flat tire.  I wonder how upset the hubby is going to be when I ask him to fix my mower for me????

I haven’t used my carharts once this winter. :(

I can’t agree more either where in the blue hell is winter? I hear in the middle of january it’s suppose to fall into a more colder and snowy pattern. Ya right we’ll see about that. New years eve and day it’s suppose to be in the middle 50′s!!! Then Next Monday and Tuesday it’s suppose to be in the lower 20′s for daytime highs and upper teens at night. But like clock work next wednesday it will be back in the upper 40′s. Bullcrap winter so far! But history has it that if a winter starts off mild and wet. it will end cold and snowy. We’ll see right? Well thats my 2 cents..

Winter in west sucks too. Parts of Pacific northwest just set record highs yesterday, only snow that fell in low elevation areas was in November. Afterwards, if was just cool and dry for 1 whole month.
