Finally gonna get some good snows around here MAYBE! As of right now were on Heavy lake effect snow alert. Got a watch and there’s real good chances Sunday night going into Monday. Lake Michigan’s Snow Machine could crank up. And deop 6 ta 12 inches of snow. In Northwest Indiana/Lower Southwest Michigan/And parts of Chicago!! Here is the info.. And the northeast a clipper/Nor’ Easter could be heading your way the first week of January. ~Dan~

Oh Boy, I hope we get something !!!! Something big like 6 inches or more !!!! I’m not getting too excited though, nothing much has panned out yet.

This would be our first snow strom yep. Took long enough lol. So far to date we only gotton 1.72 inches of snow. When by now we should have ALOT more on the ground. Winds are gonna pick up today ‘new years eve’ And blow from canada straight down lake michigan sometimes clocking 80 knots. Cold air blowing down the warm lake will fire up the lake effect snow machine. Were suppose to get 6 ta 9 inches with possible more amounts. BUT there is a negtive in everything. This snow won’t be around long. Cause starting next thurday it will be warming up with a possible 50 next friday. That isnt cool! Mother nature you are playing us dirty this winter!! I’m hearing through the grape vine a BIG chunck of the United States will be cooler the avg. and wet in summer of 2012. We’ll see it’s just a rumor right now..

I believe you will get your snows finally as well. I heard the first week of January or a pinch later a Nor’ easter will hit the eastcoast..

Hey guys. What do you think about the SW BC and PNW getting snow the second week of January? I haven’t had a snowstorm yet. Sure it was cold late November, but the only places that have been getting hammered with snow around here has been the higher elevations in the mountains. I got 2″ of snow in November and 0 cm in December, not even a trace of snow.

yeah, I am hoping for that. But it needs to stay cold, though. I’m so tired of this mild crap here.
But if this turns out to be another stupid-ass rain event, I’ll be pissed. But even if so, I expect to have a little something during mid month of January.
