It’s March 14th 2012 and it’s currently 82.4 degrees outside! I was in Chicago today with my wife going to the VA hosp. for my yearly check up. And the city was packed to the gills with people. And eatting outside this early on side cafes is un heard of this early.. I wish the Cubs were in town so i can go to a ball game. I dunno what this means weather wise but i’m enjoying it while it lasts. I heard tomorrow night were suppose to get some big boomers. But the temps won’t fall off very fast. I think that the spring will be warm and wet. But i do hear that the summer will be now coolish and wet. And the record around here was 77 degrees that got CRUSHED by a 82.4 degree temp.

It’s Marchuary for me. Got up to about 43 or 44 F and had snow in the morning.
I had a bit of snow on March 14. However, it was 60 today, and tomorrow we will hit 70 for the first time in 2012. That is a May-like temperature up here.
I have essentially no snow pack left from the winter. On the bright side, I have a great jump start on yard work, and I’m opening windows at a time of year when I would normally run heat.
We’ve only had two record highs with this warm stretch (today is the ninth day I think) but almost every morning smashed record warm lows. Today we barely got below 70, in mid march!!! Average high is 54 and average low is 32.
Man i hate this horrible warm weather.Will we ever get true long lasting cold down south again.
