Does anyone know how to keep the gnats away while you are out working in the heat and the gnats are buzzing around your head and eyes? What attracts them and what keeps them away?

when i garden, i use a piece of toile (net). I place it over my head and pull it towards the back and then tuck it under my hat or cap whichever I maybe wearing in the garden that day. I have also sprayed a bug repellant such as OFF in my hands and rubbed on my face and especially my ears. Works for me! Gardening in N. Fl. 30 mins. from the Fl. – Ga. line… Gnats are drawn to heat and sweat from your body.
