With temperatures, it says my area is in the colder than average range (Thank god, lol). With precipitation, it’s supposed to be Icier and wetter than normal, and down here, ice is the main reason work and schools are closed.

  2. mountiangirl says:

It says we here are suppose to be cooler today but, still feels humid to us we are suppose to get some rain as we all hope so it is much needed.

  3. The Rickster says:

I’m game for it. S.C. needs a goiod winter!!

  4. snowlover says:

Thank you so much!  I really needed to see this on today especially.  The heat index here today is expected to be between 105 – 109!

  5. Grandin says:

Ya it is a hot one today where im at too. there was a huge thunderstorm at 9am and i thought it was gonna cool things off but it got more humid then it was and the sun came out. Man it’s terrible outside. But i do hear August will be cooler and alot more wet. And accuweather 25 day forecast hints a cool down around the 7th of august around here but i didnt see no rain graphs. And ya all of us east of the mississippi will pay big time for all this heat and drought this winter. it’s gonna be down right cold with alot of snow. And it’s all suppose to start in october with early freezes and snows. and really cranck up in late november… We’ll see caue we all heard this last year too. so pray and keep your faith.

If it holds? I’m game. Colder then average and wetter/snowy – YES!

  7. TheMaineMan says:

They must not be anticipating an El Nino for this winter, with maps like that. Unless the NAO and AO will both be relatively positive this year?

  8. adogg30 says:

this winter coming up looks like last years winter for the great lakes

  9. sapporo1 says:

that 4 month outlook for FA seems to be right on the mark this year, every single event has come to fruition within the time frame given in the forecast.
This tells me that if they keep their cosistancy, and I believe they will, then weather advance had better shift an area of above to much above average snowfall blob into pretty much the entire state of Colorado, because according to FA’s October and November outlook, we are really going to get nailed by powerful storms just about every week in November, and about every week to every other week in October, so it sounds to me like a much above normal snowfall year for Colorado, I will cross my fingers for that, we really need an above average moisture year for a change.

  10. ShawnM says:

What is it going to be like for Central/East Central Missouri this winter? Will there be plenty of snow? Possibly with thunder at times?

  11. Grandin says:

look at the link i posted shawn? it will tell ya if u look bud

  12. Ennaedwyn says:

Wouldn’t this contradict what NOAA put out (if El Nino does develop, our winter will be dry)? And how accurate is this? Curious…

  13. weatherman911 says:
