No it doesn’t mean the Mid-Atlantic will be snowless this winter. As of now the Eastern U.S should have a cold and snowy winter.
What about the midwest? Will we get some snow to make up for the drought?
weatherforecaster103 i hope your right dude i love snow
Pray your right as South Carolina hasnt had a true winter in over 10 years or 15.
i agree with weatherforecaster103. most likely cold and snowy for us here in the midatlantic. When hot in summer it’s usually the opposite weatherman911 this usually foretells for sure for a cold and snowy winter in that’s why us snow lovers and cold lovers hope for hot summer to increase the chance of mother nature telling us signs of a cold and snowy winter.
what about the water temperatures??
Water Temperatures matter a whole lot with East Coast Storms believe it or not because the more moisture thats accociated with a winter storm that mean when the warm moisture meets up with the cold it means more snow.
Welcome back Fatima!!!! I’ve missed you! Almost time to look for signs again!!! Hoping the warm waters will work in our favor! Good question 911….good answer 103
@ weatherman911:this means more snow for the east coast when water temps are warm it will bring more stormy snowfalls and wet snow
@weatherforecaster103: Agreed again. Great answer.
@snowlover:thank you so much for letting me know you’ve missed me
no snow for this winter snow lovers, the ocean is warming up
where you live? because i know for sure the southeast northeast midatlantic east coast and possibly mid west will see a very cold and snowy winter potentially because of water warmth
