Am I missing something?

Where are the maps for the winter weather outlook?
Usually, they post maps for a specific region, along with a general explanation of what is going to happen in that area. Now they just have a countrywide map, with no regional highlighted area.
Maybe I am missing it?

In all the years that I’ve been following the Almanac, I’ve never seen region specific maps. However, they do have three-month long-range forecast available for different regions on the weather page.

I could have sworn that they have had this in the past- I distinctly remember doing this previously with each new seasonal outlook. That’s why I am so surprised. Because I remember clicking on my area (Northeast) to get a better look at the map because I can be right on the line where I am, and before I get too excited, I like to see where they draw the line.  But maybe I am thinking of the four month, but I am so sure they have done this!!!!

It’s possible you could get a more detailed forcast of your area if you buy the full version of the almanac.
