Any thoughts on it? I think it agrees with most other forecasts I’ve seen; cold and snowy for the east and mostly warmer for the west with below average precipitation there. I’m really hoping that this comes true and that it actually gets cold! Our lowest temperature last winter was 8 degrees, and the winter before that it was -2! I hope you all get a better winter this year too!

I do like what i see for the east coast :)

  2. sapporo1 says:

Only the PNW will be warm with below normal precip according to his forecast delstein, not the entire west, in fact, he is calling for near normal temperatures for much of the west with the exception of the Northwest.
Above average precip for most of the southwest, and above normal snowfall for the Rockies, yes and above normal snowfall for the Northeast and Mid Atlantic, wet in Texas and cold in the southeast.

I dont see any actually temp maps except above average.Wheres the forecast there?

  4. Delstein says:

@snowboi1: The actual forecast graphic is way down at the bottom of the page.

  5. snowboi1 says:

Thats doesnt make any sense. All the above maps there have south carolina below average but the bottom one says slightly above.Man can anyone get their crap straight with these forecasts.

  6. Ennaedwyn says:

Not happy about this map. St. Louis area will be devoid of snow. :(

I think its still too early to tell/predict what this winter will be…

  7. rainsticks says:

If you end up being correct I’ll be so happy. I really want that snow in NJ/NYC!
