Toronto/Kawartha/Haliburton area?

i’ve seen alot of maps and read alot of forecasts for the upcoming winter on the forum since stumbling across it, but most if not all are for the U.S.  We are so close to the state of NY that i usually just streach the closest colour to my area to include me in most forecast maps (the ones where colour denotes snowfall, temp, precp, etc).  does this sound like a safe assumption to make?

or even better, does anyone have a forecast or an educated guess for the listed areas for this winter?  really hoping for lots of cold and snow after last years poor showing.

thanks in advance.

on most color maps i would assume you would be fine stretching the nearest color, after all the maps are just an educated guess, and the snow wont be falling from the sky and be like  this area is blue i cant go here…..  if you know what i mean. if you search google for maps for your area i would imagine you could find some as well.
